Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Printing on Pouch
What’s the difference between Printed and Custom Pouches?
Our Printed Pouches service is the fastest option – we print directly on stock pouches from just 100 pcs, ready in as little as 7 days. In this service, the background comes from the pouch itself (kraft, white, black or other available stock colours), and we print your design on top.
Our Custom Pouches service means fully customised pouches – you choose the material, size, print, and features. This option allows for edge-to-edge full print, including the bottom and sides of the pouch. MOQ starts from 500 pcs with a lead time of 3–4 weeks.
Which materials can I choose for custom made packaging?
We offer a wide range of materials including kraft paper, recyclable and biodegradable films, aluminium/foil for high barrier protection, and transparent or partially clear pouches with custom window shapes.
What is the minimum order quantity for fully customised pouches?
Our MOQ is just 500 pcs (not 10,000 like many competitors). For the best price per unit, we recommend ordering at least 1,000 pcs.
Do you offer bespoke finishes for pouches?
Yes – our bespoke pouches can be upgraded with premium finishes such as foiling (gold, silver, rose gold, holographic), spot UV, or matt & gloss varnishes for a luxury look.
Can I order custom pouches with a window in a specific shape?
Yes! With our fully customised pouches, you can add custom window shapes – round, square, or even a design unique to your brand. You can even include multiple windows on one pouch, depending on your needs. It’s a great way to showcase your product while keeping the packaging professional and functional.
Do custom made pouches cost more than stock pouches?
Our custom pouches start from just 500 pcs, which keeps costs accessible. While the unit price is higher than plain stock bags, you get edge-to-edge print, custom materials and features, and significantly stronger branding impact. For the best value, we recommend 1,000 pcs or more.
Are bespoke pouches suitable for eco-friendly packaging?
Absolutely. We offer eco-friendly materials such as recyclable, biodegradable and kraft paper options. Many of our clients choose these sustainable materials to align their personalised packaging with their brand’s environmental values.
Can I get samples before placing a full order?
Yes – we can provide free samples of our printed pouches (overprint on stock bags), so you can check the material, print quality and overall look.
For fully customised pouches (full print, edge-to-edge) we supply a digital proof instead of physical samples (so you can approve the design before production). This is because custom pouches are produced from rollstock film on large production lines, so making just one physical sample isn’t possible without running the full process.
Do you ship custom pouches outside the UK?
Absolutely. While we serve many clients across the UK, we also deliver to businesses across Europe. Whether you’re a local start-up or an international e-commerce business, our fully customised pouches can be shipped directly to your door.
Are personalised pouches food-safe?
Yes – all our personalised packaging is manufactured using food-grade materials and inks. This makes our pouches suitable for coffee, tea, snacks, supplements, pet food and many other products.
What is the lead time?
Once your artwork is approved, the production process begins. For Printed Pouches (overprint on stock bags), we can sometimes complete orders in as little as 1–2 days after approval, depending on capacity.
For Fully Customised Pouches (full print, edge-to-edge), lead time is typically 3–4 weeks.
Please note that the overall turnaround time also depends on your input – the faster we receive your design files and your final approval, the sooner we can move your project into production.

The screen printing technique gives the most durable printing result. Due to its durability, screen printing is a very good printing option for reusable material bags and clothes. Screen printer can be used on almost any surface like paper, plastic, foil, glass, fabric, card, leather, wood, and metal.
